            การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังตามหลักธรรมาภิบาล ปัญหา อุปสรรคของการปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขัง และแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา อุปสรรคและปรับปรุงการปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังตามหลักธรรมาภิบาลของเรือนจำกลางบางขวาง โดยใช้วิจัยเอกสารและวิจัยสนาม ในส่วนของการวิจัยสนาม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้างจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญจำนวน 15 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การนำหลักธรรมาภิบาลไปปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำกลางบางขวาง มีวิธีการคือ ปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังทุกคนด้วยความเท่าเทียมกัน เสมอภาค ให้สิทธิประโยชน์อย่างเท่าเทียมตามที่ระเบียบกรมราชทัณฑ์หรือตามที่กฎหมายกำหนดไว้ ปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องขังด้วยความเป็นเพื่อนมนุษย์ ใช้หลักคุณธรรม เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ต้องขังมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมต่างๆ คำนึงถึงสิทธิขั้นพื้นฐานภายใต้กฎหมายปฏิบัติหน้าที่ด้วยความโปร่งใส บุคคลภายนอกสามารถเข้ามาตรวจสอบการทำงานของเรือนจำได้ มีการรับฟังเรื่องราวร้องทุกข์จากญาติผู้ต้องขังและผู้ต้องขัง เป็นวิธีการปฏิบัติเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานในเรือนจำ เพื่อนำไปสู่การเป็นองค์กรที่ทรงไว้ซึ่งความยุติธรรม เสมอภาค คำนึงถึงสิทธิและเสรีภาพ เพื่อคืนคนดีมีคุณค่าสู่สังคมต่อไป

And solutions to problems Obstacles and improvement of treatment for prisoners in accordance with good governance of Bang Khwang Central Prison By using document research and field research In the field of field research Data were collected by structured interviews from 15 key informants. Applying good governance principles to the prisoners in Bang Khwang Central Prison, the method is to treat all prisoners with equality, equality, and equal rights as prescribed by the Department of Corrections or as prescribed by law. Treat prisoners with humanity by using moral principles. Allowing prisoners to participate in various activities. Taking into account the basic rights under the law, performing duties with transparency. Third parties can come to check the work of the prison. There is a list of complaints from relatives, inmates and prisoners. Is a practical way to increase the efficiency of operations in prisons. To lead to being an organization that maintains justice and equality, taking into account rights and freedoms and to return the good people to the society.
