คุณภาพชีวิตการทำงานของพนักงานพิเศษ : ศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ (Special employees’ quality of work life : A case study of the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok)

บทคัดย่อ

          การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพชีวิตการทำงานของพนักงานพิเศษ โดยศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ ใช้วิธีวิจัยเอกสารและวิจัยสนาม ในส่วนของการวิจัยสนาม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยโดยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้างจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญจำนวน 10 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณภาพชีวิตการทำงานของพนักงานพิเศษในด้านที่อยู่ในระดับดีมี 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) สภาพการทำงานที่มีความปลอดภัยและส่งเสริมสุขภาพ 2) โอกาสในการพัฒนาสมรรถภาพของบุคลากร 3) การบูรณาการทางสังคม 4) ประชาธิปไตยในองค์การ 5) ความสมดุลระหว่างงานกับชีวิตส่วนตัว 6) ลักษณะงานที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคม ส่วนคุณภาพชีวิตการทำงานของพนักงานพิเศษในด้านที่ยังไม่เหมาะสมมี 2 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ค่าตอบแทนที่เพียงพอและยุติธรรม 2) ความก้าวหน้าและความมั่นคงในงาน

Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok was selected as a case study with the main purpose to study the quality of work life of special employees using documentary and field research methods. In the phase of using field research, data related to the research purpose were collected by structured interviews from 10 key informants. The research found that there were 6 aspects of the quality of work life of special employees at a good level, including 1) safe and healthy working condition, 2) opportunities to develop personnel competencies, 3) social integration, 4) democracy in the organization, 5) balance between work and personal life, 6) job characteristics that were beneficial to society. As for the quality of work life of special employees which were still not appropriate, there were 2 aspects : 1) adequate and fair compensation, 2) growth and job security.
