Desirable Characteristics of College Administrators

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

            การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาตามทัศนะของบุคลากรสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน ปัญหาและอุปสรรคของคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ และแนวทางการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน ใช้วิธีวิจัยเอกสาร และการวิจัยสนาม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ อาจารย์ พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ สถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน จำนวน 5 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้บริหารสถาบันการศึกษาที่พึงประสงค์นั้น จะต้องเป็นคนมีวิสัยทัศน์ที่ชัดเจน มีความเป็นผู้นำ กล้าคิด กล้าตัดสินใจ มีความมั่นใจ   ต้องดูแลนักศึกษาในเรื่องของการเรียน หลักสูตรที่ทันสมัยและอุปกรณ์ เครื่องมือ เทคโนโลยี ให้มีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องให้ได้มีการอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพ สามารถสื่อสารและสามารถแบ่งบทบาทหน้าที่ของบุคลากรได้อย่างเหมาะสม และควรเป็นบุคคลที่มีทัศนคติเชิงบวก ที่มีความคิดที่ทันสมัย ทันต่อโลกในปัจจุบัน ไม่ยึดติดกับรูปแบบหรือแบบแผนการปฏิบัติแบบเดิมๆ รวมทั้งด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ ด้านวิชาการ ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรม ด้านบุคลิกภาพ ด้านการปฏิบัติงานขององค์การ ด้านการร่วมมือกับชุมชนและหน่วยงานอื่น

Abstract

            The purpose of this research was to study the desirable characteristics of college administrators as perceived by private higher education institution personnel. Problems and obstacles of desired features are also explored. Accordingly, it would project desirable characteristics of college administrators in Private Higher Education Institutions as perceived by the personnel. Documentary research and field research were employed. Data were collected by structured interview. The samples were lecturers and officers who work in private higher education institutions. The results of the study were as follows: desirable educational administration must have a clear vision, leadership, courage, self-determination, confidence. They should take care of students in their studies. They have to keep path to modern curriculums and equipment, technology, and technology that are constantly evolving and also can communicate and properly manage the roles of personnel.They should be  persons with  positive attitudes with modern ideas to the world today, do not attached to an old pattern and traditional practices. They should have good human relations, morality, ethics, personality and the performance of the organization, can cooperate with communities and other organizations.
